About the Role:

ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our caregiving operations — connecting clients with compassionate caregivers and keeping everything running smoothly. Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality client coverage
Match caregivers to clients based on availability, skills, and compatibility
Communicate daily with caregivers and clients to confirm shifts and address scheduling changes
Handle last-minute call-offs and find prompt replacements to minimize service disruptions
Maintain accurate scheduling records and update staffing software in real time
Collaborate with the care coordination team to support new client onboarding
Respond to after-hours scheduling needs as required

Requirements:

Prior scheduling, staffing, or coordination experience preferred, ideally in home care or healthcare
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with scheduling software, CRMs, or similar digital tools
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think quickly under pressure
Compassionate, patient, and client-focused demeanor
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional on-call availability
