Maintenance Supervisor

Hiring Compensation Range: $48,722.98 to $53,595.27 depending on qualifications.

Position Description:

The position supervises, plans, coordinates and evaluates the maintenance function for assigned campus of the College to ensure proper maintenance of equipment, facilities and/or grounds.

Job Duties:

Supervises, plans, coordinates and evaluates the maintenance function for assigned campus(es) of the College to ensure proper maintenance of equipment, facilities and/or grounds.

• Supervises, plans, directs, assigns and evaluates maintenance personnel; assists maintenance personnel with performance of work as needed.
• Communicates and meets with department managers regarding status of incoming and completed work orders.
• Analyzes work orders to ensure appropriate tools and/or materials are available; prepares requisitions for tools and/or materials as needed.
• Directs and assigns work orders. Evaluates and coordinates work orders according to priority.
• Meets and works with vendors regarding purchases and contracts.
• Maintains accurate records of work orders, pricing, personnel, etc., and prepares and approves payroll certification.
• Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

The position requires at least an Associate’s degree or two-year College equivalent (at least 60 undergraduate hours) and at least three years of prior-related work experience. The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.
