Healthcare United is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join a well established community hospital and affiliated physician group in the Lower Naugatuck Valley region of Connecticut. This is a full time, employed position within a respected healthcare organization serving a diverse and growing patient population. This opportunity offers the ability to practice comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology in a supportive, physician led environment with strong clinical resources and an established referral network. The location provides convenient access to New Haven, Milford, Shelton, and surrounding coastal and suburban communities, with proximity to major metropolitan areas. Requirements Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings Perform deliveries and manage inpatient obstetric patients Provide outpatient gynecology services including preventive care and treatment of women’s health conditions Participate in shared call coverage with physician colleagues Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic conditions Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff Benefits Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut Completion of accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program Strong clinical and surgical skills Commitment to providing high quality, patient centered care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Working Hours Full time employed position Combination of outpatient clinic and hospital responsibilities Shared call schedule Structured schedule designed to support work life balance Skills Strong competency in obstetric and gynecologic care Ability to perform deliveries and manage inpatient and outpatient cases Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic abilities Strong communication and patient engagement skills Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment Strong organizational and time management skills Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience Employed position offering long term stability Comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and paid time off Supportive and collaborative clinical environment Opportunity for long term professional growth If you are seeking a collegial practice with excellent support and resources, contact Healthcare United today.
