~1 min readThe Senior Program Coordinator will oversee planning, implementation, performance monitoring, evaluation, and reporting across Asthma Control Program interventions to drive advancement of evidence-based strategies shown to reduce the burden of childhood asthma. Responsibilities will include: engaging internal and external partners and contractors in accomplishing deliverables; providing technical assistance to implementation partners on programmatic and evaluation activities; coordinating data collection, conducting performance monitoring, and developing reporting to demonstrate progress towards achieving process and outcome measures; analyzing program evaluation and asthma surveillance data to inform and monitor Asthma Control Program resource planning and intervention coordination; developing dissemination materials to communicate information on Asthma Control Program interventions and to promote key messages related to asthma prevention and control; overseeing program deliverables in alignment with funding requirements; supervising staff; and performing other appropriate related duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min readA Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of program coordination experience in a public health, health, or human services-related program or community-based organization; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and six years of such experience; OR eight years of such experience. The experience must have been contributing toward the development, implementation and/or evaluation of a program, project or other related activities. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. At least two years of experience must have included supervision of staff and/or program management.
Master's degree in Public Health or related field and at least six years of experience in developing, coordinating, implementing, and/or evaluating large-scale public health interventions related to chronic disease prevention and control. Demonstrated experience engaging local, statewide, and national organizations in efforts to advance evidence-based chronic disease prevention and control strategies supporting children with asthma; proficiency in coordinating data collection and performance monitoring for public health programs; and demonstrated experience summarizing data analytic results, report writing, and public presentation to varied audiences.
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Travel up to 10% of the time will be required.
The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with a combination of onsite and remote work.
