Production Technician

Since Helion's founding in 2013, we have raised over $1 billion from long-time investors such as Sam Altman, Mithril, and Capricorn Investment Group as well as new investors SoftBank and Lightspeed to propel us forward. Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). We are now operating Polaris, our next prototype on the path to the world's first fusion power plant.

Shifts Available | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Alternating 3–4 days/week)

• C Shift (Nights): Sun–Tue / Sun–Wed | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Helion is expanding production as we scale toward 24/7 operation. We are hiring multiple Production Technicians to help build the hardware behind our fusion generators.

As a Production Technician, you will assemble mechanical and electrical components on our in-house production lines, building the hardware that powers Helion’s prototype and production fusion machines. You’ll play a direct role in scaling our manufacturing operations as we move toward 24/7 production, with your work contributing to Helion’s ability to deliver clean energy at scale. This is a hands-on role based in Everett, WA, where you will report to a Production Supervisor and collaborate closely with technicians, engineers, and support teams to meet daily production goals.

• Assemble critical mechanical and electrical assemblies per engineering work instructions

• Use electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical hand tools

• Perform essential quality control inspections

• Partner with a collaborative team of technicians, material handlers, and engineers to meet daily targets

• Communicate with your Lead and Supervisor on daily basis

• Rebuild and re-test defective assemblies

• Complete specialized projects to help us build our fusion generator

• Comprehend and interpret work instructions, short correspondence, and memos

• 1+ years of work experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and hitting daily/weekly goals

• Experience reading and adhering to instructions (i.e. work instructions, procedures, or processes)

• Physical ability to squat, reach, climb, and lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
