Sales Associate - Jermyn Street, London
We are seeking a passionate and client-focused Sales Associate to join our prestigious Jermyn Street boutique in London on a full-time basis. Established in 1995, the store is renowned for offering exceptional ready-to-wear and made-to-order footwear and accessories to an international clientele, supported by a close-knit team of four.

As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering impeccable service to our discerning global clientele while contributing to every aspect of boutique operations. From cultivating long-term customer relationships to supporting stock management and after-care services, you will help ensure each client experience reflects the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service at every stage of the client journey
Build strong and lasting relationships to encourage customer loyalty and retention
Maximise sales opportunities while maintaining a thoughtful and consultative approach
Support the day-to-day operations of the boutique, including stock handling and deliveries
Coordinate after-care services and customer communications with professionalism and attention to detail
Assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the store

Main Accountabilities:
Under the direct responsibility of the Store Manager:
Sales floor operations
A core member of the sales team, offering excellent customer service, maximising sales opportunities and taking pride in developing long-term relationships.
Ensure the clients have a warm in-store experience throughout the journey, demonstrate warmth, sincerity and patience in all dealings with our customers, always displaying a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of all John Lobb’s products: their features and benefits.
Ensure that in store displays are constantly reviewed and refreshed, following the guidelines, ensuring they stay relevant and attractive.
Confident and proactive in customer interaction, contacting customers via different platforms, building up client book and develop new customers, being a brand ambassador for John Lobb.
Familiar and confident in operating the till and payment, including processing exchanges and returns.
Ensure and participate in excellent after-sales and sales support activities. Deliver an outstanding service to clients with a client-centric mindset.
Customer Service
Ensure strong and professional customer communication during the selling ceremony in store and continue the relationship afterwards. Extend the customer experience outside the store digitally. Demonstrate a seamless and tailored experience for the client in/out of the store.
Be proactive in managing the client database consistently with accurate CRM capture and recording of client data.
Hold and maintain an extremely solid, active and local client base to keep a long-term relationship.
Alongside the management, look after clients with special orders and ensure thorough communication with clients and colleagues throughout the process.
Understand and be able to generate and capture the remote sales by communicating on different platforms.
Participate and collaborate in the creation of in-store and offsite events.
Styling/ Fashion
Interest in fashion and understanding the trends.
Be able to advise and style the customers and have knowledge and curiosity of competitors.
Stock and back-office management
Maintain a constant knowledge of the stock that is available in the store and elsewhere.
Ensure that stock is properly stored and handled, bringing stock issues to the attention of the Store Manager.
Assisting with stock take and taking responsibility for regular cycle count results, coming up with solutions to enhance and improve.
Participate in the stock ordering, receiving and maintenance processes.
Handle internal and external transfer and carry out the related paperwork correctly followed by the guidelines.
Assist the Store Manger to monitor and operate the E-commerce platform, validate the orders, and conduct the shipment.
Miscellaneous:
Take part in security activities within the company’s guidelines and ensure, as far as practicable, that stock or other property is not put at unnecessary risk.
Liaise with the wider John Lobb team as necessary in support of the store’s requirements.
Undertake projects and responsibilities with direction from the Manager.
Applicant profile

Previous experience (3 years minimum) in high-end/luxury international retail contexts, experience in the men’s sector would be a plus
Great clientele skills, existing strong client book would be a plus
High interest and a good sense in fashion and the trends
Excellent communication skills: written and oral English
Fluency in another language would be a strong advantage
Some experience of retail administration. A good understanding of CRM, databases and e-commerce would be a plus.
