Hidden Talent is hiring a Warehouse Manager on behalf of Alsico North America, a global leader in protective workwear, cleanroom garments, and PPE solutions.
Founded in Belgium in 1934, Alsico operates in 16 countries and manufactures the vast majority of its products in-house through a global network of facilities. As part of its continued growth in North America, Alsico is launching a new distribution center in Shelbyville, Kentucky, creating an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to help build and lead the operation from the ground up.
This is not a role for someone who wants to simply maintain an existing warehouse. It is an opportunity to join a growing international company, help establish a new distribution center, build a team, and play a key role in the future growth of Alsico's North American operations.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs Warehouse Manager, you will serve as the operational leader of the Shelbyville facility, overseeing daily warehouse activities while acting as the primary link between the warehouse, the North American sales team, and company leadership.
You will be responsible for ensuring products are received accurately, stored correctly, picked efficiently, and shipped on time. This role requires someone who enjoys being both a leader and a contributor, with a willingness to step onto the warehouse floor whenever needed.
- →Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping
- →Lead, train, and support a growing warehouse team
- →Assign daily work and coordinate warehouse activities
- →Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counting activities
- →Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment needs
- →Work closely with leadership to ensure operational goals are achieved
- →Coordinate with transportation partners and shipment providers
- →Identify product quality concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- →Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- →Assist with unloading shipments, inventory counts, and other warehouse activities
- →Help recruit, onboard, and develop future warehouse team members as the operation grows
Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. They will take ownership of the warehouse, solve problems proactively, and help create the processes and structure necessary for long-term success.

Requirements

- Experience in warehousing and inventory control is preferred
- Experience leading, training, and developing warehouse employees is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Forklift experience preferred (certification can be obtained after hire)
- Logistics experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
