Home Helpers Home Care of West Marietta is growing, and we are looking for experienced, dependable CNAs and personal caregivers to join our team in the Marietta and West Cobb area.

We are specifically seeking caregivers who have weekday daytime and/or weekend availability and are comfortable providing hands-on personal care. We have a mix of recurring client schedules, shorter visits, longer shifts, and opportunities for additional hours as new clients begin services.

Current Hiring Priorities

We are especially interested in caregivers who are available for one or more of the following:

Monday–Friday daytime shifts, particularly between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday coverage
Short and medium shifts ranging from 2–8 hours
Occasional 8–12 hour shifts
PRN and backup coverage for existing clients
Early morning or evening personal-care visits

Caregivers with flexible availability may have opportunities to work with multiple clients and build a consistent weekly schedule.

Responsibilities May Include

Depending on the client, responsibilities may include:

Companionship and supervision
Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene assistance
Toileting and incontinence care
Mobility and ambulation assistance
Transfers and gait-belt assistance
Dementia and memory-care support
Meal preparation and hydration reminders
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping and laundry
Transportation, errands, and appointments
Fall-prevention and safety support
Following individualized client care plans
Communicating changes in client condition or needs to the office

Who We Are Looking For

Our strongest candidates are caregivers who are:

Dependable and consistent
Comfortable with hands-on personal care
Experienced working with older adults
Comfortable supporting clients with dementia or memory loss
Experienced with mobility assistance and transfers
Willing to work with different client needs and personalities
Good communicators with clients, families, and the office
Able to follow a care plan while encouraging client independence
Looking for meaningful, ongoing work rather than only a single temporary assignment

CNA experience is strongly preferred for higher-acuity assignments, although experienced personal caregivers are also encouraged to apply.

Availability That Is Especially Valuable

We are currently prioritizing applicants who can provide:

Consistent weekday daytime availability
Saturday and/or Sunday availability
Flexibility for both shorter visits and 4–8 hour shifts
PRN availability for call-outs and new client starts

Applicants who can work only occasional or highly restricted hours are welcome to apply, but priority will be given to caregivers whose availability helps support consistent client coverage.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to meet all applicable agency and State of Georgia requirements, which may include:

Background screening
TB screening
Drug screening
Required caregiver training and competency requirements
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for assignments requiring client transportation
Ability to reliably arrive at scheduled client visits
