Our mission is to ensure that no one in the world has to suffer from a treatable skin disease because of an access issue ever again.

Honeydew is building a platform for hundreds of millions of people globally to access expertise and science-backed skin treatments, from prescription to retail.

Our tech-forward dermatology experience helps people with chronic skin conditions access licensed specialists, FDA-approved treatment, and ongoing support in record time (24 hours vs an industry average of 6 months).

Honeydew is the future of skin health — digitally native, scientifically rooted, integrated end-to-end (evaluation + treatments + lab tests), and powered by AI.

As a Care Coordinator at Honeydew, you'll be the steady, skilled voice guiding patients through their treatment. You've done chat-based care before, so you already know what great written support looks like. Here, you'll put that experience to work from day one, helping patients feel heard, supported, and confident while keeping their care moving.

This role is built for someone ready to hit the ground running. You're comfortable with ambiguity, you like having clear metrics to hit, and you take pride in owning your queue.

  • Manage a full patient caseload through app chat, writing clear, warm, professional messages (this is 99% of your patient interaction)

  • Own your response times and quality metrics, consistently meeting our SLAs

  • Anticipate patient questions and resolve issues in as few touchpoints as possible

  • Coordinate with pharmacies and labs by phone to troubleshoot prescription issues, insurance hiccups, and delivery problems

  • Connect with dermatology providers as needed to keep care plans on track

  • Keep meticulous records, because details matter when it's someone's health on the line

  • Monitor patient progress through ongoing messaging, troubleshoot obstacles, and celebrate wins along their journey

  • Share feedback on workflows and patient trends to help us improve how we deliver care

This is a full-time role from day one: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, within a 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET window. Your specific schedule will be confirmed during the hiring process. Patients count on timely support, so you'll be accountable for responding within 4 hours during your scheduled hours.

  • You've been the go-to person on a chat support team and you're ready for a role that recognizes that

  • You're energized by clear goals and metrics, and you know how to hit them without sacrificing quality

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and can keep things moving while processes are still being built

  • You can read tone and emotion in written messages and respond appropriately

  • You genuinely like people, even when they're frustrated and it's coming through in ALL CAPS

  • You'd rather proactively solve a problem than wait for a template

  • You believe healthcare should be accessible to everyone, not just the privileged few

The Non-Negotiables:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a chat-based Care Coordinator, care specialist, or similar role (written chat support, not phone-based)

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with clear SLAs

  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities

  • You're an exceptional writer: clear, warm, and professional in every message

  • You type at least 40 WPM

  • Availability to work full-time from day one, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week within a 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET window

  • A laptop or desktop computer (Mac or PC). Phones, Chromebooks, and iPads aren't supported.

  • Reliable internet and a private workspace. HIPAA compliance isn't optional.

  • You thrive working independently and take feedback as fuel, not criticism

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience at a healthcare or digital health startup

  • A healthcare or clinical support background, including familiarity with pharmacies, labs, or insurance

  • Experience with Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace

  • Hourly pay: $21.63 - $24.04/hour (final pay is based on experience and skills)

  • Fully remote role

  • Direct impact you can measure

  • Ability to grow within the company

  • Great health, vision, and dental insurance

  • 401k with company match

  • One Medical, Kindbody, Talkspace, and HealthAdvocate membership

  • Direct access to new dermatology treatments

  • 20% off Honeydew products

  • Peer-to-peer recognition through Motivosity
