The After-Hours Charge Nurse is responsible for coordinating the activities of the After-Hours staff to ensure proper care for patients.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday; 11:00am - 7:30pm

Office Location:

Pleasanton, CA and San Mateo, CA; onsite presence is required for trainings

Remote

Hope Hospice follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

✓Under the direction of the After-Hours Manager, address problems associated with the delivery of clinical services.

✓Ensure adequate daily staffing after-hours by interacting with staff and coordinating with the After-Hours Manager and administrative assistant.

✓Conduct appropriate supervisory visits to allow for clinical observation of performance of assigned team members in accordance with organization policy, accreditation, and regulatory standards.

✓Monitor compliance with agency policies and procedures related to clinical services.

✓Assist After-Hours Manager in identifying needs for staff education and in the development and implementation of in-service programs for after-hours nursing staff.

Bachelor’s Science in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
Experience in hospice setting required.

Current license as a registered professional nurse in the State of California.
Public Health Nursing certification highly desirable.

Pay Range:
$64.00 - $66.00 hourly
