As a Business Analyst at Horizon, you will…
- Standardize and simplify workflows, handoffs, and documentation
- Participate in a value-driven intake process to prioritize high-impact initiatives (access, wait times, no-shows, quality metrics, denials, audit findings, staff burden)
- Assist in scoping project requirements based on organization and requestor’s needs
- Conduct baseline assessments, process mapping, and root-cause analyses
- Act or assist in project management on specified projects or opportunities assigned by the Transformation Committee, Senior Staff, or directly by the CIO
- Map current-state and future-state workflows across administrative and clinical processes
- Assist in building return on invest (ROI) justifications for proposed projects by aligning business needs, costs, risks, and expected outcomes
- Develop KPIs, reports, dashboards, or key data artifacts for specified project
- Support pilots, iterating and scaling standardized processes across sites
- Establish how-tos, SOPs, and competency-based training materials
- Routinely monitor reports for specified metric and project outcomes as well as ongoing quality assurance adjusting as needed
- Deep understanding of business and clinical operations

- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- 1-2+ years of project-related experience preferred; and/or recent college graduates with relevant education, internships, or project experience will be considered.
- Ability to analyze business processes to identify efficiency and improvement opportunities.
- Healthcare data experience (EHR, claims, or revenue cycle management) preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and API integrations preferred.
- Project management certification preferred but not required
This position is located at 55 Dodge Rd, Getzville NY.
This is a full-time position from Monday – Friday.
What We Offer
~1 min readHorizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
- Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
- Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
- Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
