Program Manager, Commercial PC Quality, Cost & System Management

• Responsible for leading multiple project teams and managing activities of supporting teams and internal development partners.

• Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, and leverages it to drive innovation and technology integration.

• Manages and leads cross-functional program teams, delivers professional reports, develops schedules, budgets and resource plans, and tracks progress against the established plans, while leading less-experienced staff members.

• Identifies risks and creates mitigation plans, and reports the same to executive management.

• Commercial laptops and desktops.

• May lead initiatives for Process Improvement, Product Planning, and Quality.

• Manages, leads, and drives a program involving multiple functions and project teams for a product or service offering.
• Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, lead discussions with stakeholders, create implementation plans, and manage projects to completion.

• Identifies potential risks or issues with project implementations and proactively drives risk communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provides subject matter expertise to program stakeholders to solve complex programs/issues.
• Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.

• Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.
• Collaborates with the project/program team members to understand lessons learned to ensure project and process improvements are captured from concept to launch.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the organization.

• Drives best practices through documentation control policies and procedures.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members and contributes to their growth within the organization.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in Project/Program Management, Process Improvement, Quality, or a related field.
