Rollperson

• →Get rolls from knitting floor and transport them to the inspection area.
• →Insert zero lift rod into roll to get weight.
• →Write correct information on inspected fabric roll and knit production ticket.
• →Place fabric in plastic bags along with production ticket, and place on correct shipping buggy.
• →Assist other Rollpersons to lift sample rolls onto finished buggies when above waist high and over 65 lbs.
• →Make copies of white knitting ticket for waste and mark red waste ticket to be given to Knitter.
• →Get supplies for inspection as needed.
• →Move completed buggies as needed.
• →Help keep inspection area clean and neat.
• →Occasionally performs housekeeping duties throughout the plant, on a rotation basis, with the other Rollpersons on the shift.
• →Charge forklifts as needed.
• →Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions.
• →Keep work area neat and clean.
• →Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Forklift, hoist, pallet jack certification.
• Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong team player.
