Co-op Researcher – Robotics System and Interaction

Our team includes researchers, engineers, and designers collaborating across disciplines to develop novel interactive systems, sensing technologies, wearable and IoT systems, human factors, computer vision, and multimodal interfaces. • Assist in 3D modeling of mechanical components (e.g., in SolidWorks) and design electrical circuit layouts or PCBs.

• Develop and debug code for industrial or collaborative robots, often utilizing ROS(2), Python, or C++.

• Integrate sensors (e.g., machine vision, tactile) , actuators, microcontrollers like Arduino into cohesive robotic platforms.

• Prepare technical reports, assembly procedures, and bills of materials (BOMs) to support the transition from design to manufacturing.

The total target annual compensation for this position ranges from $58,000 to $104,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
