• →3–8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack fundamentals.
• →Proven track record of building production-grade APIs and distributed systems.
• →Mastery of database design, data modeling, and asynchronous workflows (queues, events, retries, and idempotency).
• →A high degree of engineering judgment; you understand when to build for scale and when to optimize for speed.
• →Exceptional ownership mentality—you are comfortable taking a problem and a goal and figuring out the path to completion independently.
• →Highly hands-on approach with a desire to write production code daily in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

• Direct experience in fintech, neobanking, or payments (specifically ledgers, reconciliation, or money movement).
• Background at high-growth financial technology companies such as Stripe, Adyen, Airwallex, Brex, or similar infrastructure providers.
• Familiarity with the regulatory nuances of KYC/KYB and international banking infrastructure.
• Experience building multi-currency or FX-heavy platforms.
