Maintenance Technician (Middlefield Facility)

• →Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• →Install, align, and calibrate machinery and mechanical equipment.
• →Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures in food processing and packaging equipment.
• →Assist in modifying or upgrading existing machinery to improve efficiency.
• →Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures.
• →Support senior mechanics and technicians as needed.
• →Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in all maintenance tasks.

• Certification or apprenticeship as a millwright, or working towards completion.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in food processing.
• Valid Millwright (433A) license is an asset but not required.
• Experience with dry packaging and can processing machines is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in an industrial setting.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Full-time, on-site position (day shift; flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend maintenance as needed).
• Fast-paced food manufacturing environment involving standing, lifting, and mechanical work.
• PPE and safety training provided.
