TEST Software Engineer (Shirel)

Duties: Develop and maintain proprietary software tools in C++ and Python to monitor
and control a low-latency blended hardware and software trading system (60%).
Troubleshoot systems in software and hardware in order to resolve operational
issues (20%). Produce testing harnesses and processes in C++ and Python (10%).
Implement market-specific handlers in C++ to parse data into a format that can
be ingested for statistical analysis, and to send and receive order and execution
information with markets and trading interfaces (10%).

Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer and Information
Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a
related quantitative field, plus six (6) months of experience in the position offered
or related experience. All required experience must have included: Experience
testing, troubleshooting and modifying system software to resolve operational
issues. Experience developing and maintaining software tools in C++ and Python.
Experience developing scalable data storage and distribution systems to support
performance of advanced statistical and computer analysis. Experience producing
testing harnesses and processes in C++ and Python. Employer will accept any
amount of professional experience with the required skills. Salary: $200K-300K.
40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
