This role goes beyond managing day-to-day project operations, Senior Project Managers are expected to lead strategically, mentor others, and play a key role in the overall success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities
~1 min readProvide overall leadership and direction for projects from preconstruction through closeout. Ensure alignment between scope, budget, schedule, quality, and client expectations while proactively identifying and resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead project planning efforts, including buyout strategy, scheduling, staffing, logistics, and execution planning. Work closely with field leadership to maintain project momentum and ensure successful delivery.
Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, subcontract management, change management, and owner billings. Ensure projects are managed responsibly and positioned for strong financial outcomes.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders. Build trust through proactive communication, responsiveness, and consistent execution.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and development team members. Foster accountability, collaboration, and professional growth across the project team.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors. Promote a team-oriented project environment built on communication, accountability, and mutual respect.
Work closely with field leadership and Safety to uphold IMC’s “Safety First” culture. Support the consistent execution of project-specific safety and quality standards across all phases of construction.
Lead with urgency, professionalism, and sound judgment. Create alignment across project teams and help drive solutions that keep projects moving forward efficiently and effectively.
Assist in client development, interviews, proposal efforts, and relationship management to help support repeat business and future opportunities.
