Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist the Construction Manager in delivering project milestones.
- →Coordinate daily offshore construction activities.
- →Chair the daily coordination meeting
- →Monitor progress against the construction schedule and provide regular updates.
- →Liaise with contractors to help plan construction operations around weather windows and site conditions.
- →Oversee offshore construction teams, ensuring activities are conducted safely, efficiently.
- →Monitor contractor performance and resolve issues or delays that may impact project timelines.
- →Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards during all construction activities.
- →Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of construction spreads with the marine team.
- →Act as the point of contact between offshore construction teams and onshore management.
- →Identify and address construction risks, including adverse weather, vessel availability, or technical challenges.
- →Work with the construction team to develop contingency plans and adjust schedules as needed.
- →Directly manage the Employers Balance of Plant team.
- Able to foster a positive safety culture
- Effective planner
- Capable leader
- Excellent communicator
- 8 years experience in the offshore renewables industry
- 5 years in a similar role
- Understanding of rotational working in remote/offshore environments
- Good understanding of all aspects of a wind farm under construction
- Competent IT user
Requirements
