Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Works closely with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to evaluate and review a pet’s medical history to determine a baseline of health.
- →Reviews policies to make eligibility determination.
- →Creates and issues claims decisions to policyholders.
- →May order medical records from providers.
- →May communicate with clients and providers during treatment.
- →Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- →3+ years in the veterinary field if a licensed technician or 5+ years in the veterinary field if an unlicensed assistant.
- →Must be located in Canada.
- →High school or secondary school diploma or GED required.
- →Associates Degree or equivalent work experience (one-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college).
- →Veterinary technician licensure strongly preferred.
