Perioperative nurses must demonstrate strong critical-thinking skills to prepare patients for surgery along with manage unstable postoperative patients. Perioperative nurses work closely with anesthesia, surgical teams, and ancillary departments to maintain a safe and efficient patient care environment. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and time management skills. Our unit culture is defined by a small team with an extended family environment, emphasizing collaboration and teamwork with both peers and providers. If you are willing to work hard, are self-motivated and desire to work in a positive atmosphere, this is the right team for you!
