IEM is currently seeking a Production Control ream member for our Fremont, CA team, and will report into the Senior Director of Operations. The Production Control team member is primarily responsible for assisting the Production Department with all potential production constraints. You will be coordinating production activities to ensure optimal utilization and timely delivery of products.  This role will mitigate current and future risks of anything that could negatively impact on time completion of finished goods.

 

 

  • Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and communicate potential schedule changes as needed to accommodate production delays, disruptions, expedites, material shortages, customer cancellations, or recovery plans.
  • Track and report production status as needed
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and help to implement solutions to meet delivery deadlines when needed.
  • Provide support to the Production Planners and schedulers.
  • Orchestrate communication with engineering, procurement, quality, maintenance and any other department needs that will hinder production.
  • Generate and maintain weekly production reports if required by the Manufacturing Supervisor or Planning Manager.
  • Document history as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to established safety guidelines.
  • Adheres to scheduling policies, processes and procedures.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prefer 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Teams and Outlook.
  • Understanding of how an ERP System flows.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable with organizing discussions across all levels of the organization.
  • Organizational skills, including coordinating tasks, schedules, and resources to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Interpersonal skills such as building rapport with team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
  • Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organization
