Production Planner/Scheduler

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required).
- 3–7 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (INFOR experience preferred).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes, lean principles, and capacity planning.
- Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organization
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.
[Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000]
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on order priorities, material readiness, and work center capacity.
- →Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment of schedules with available resources.
- →Review customer orders, validate ship dates, and ensure alignment with published lead times.
- →Manage schedule adjustments for expedited orders, delays, or material shortages, ensuring proactive communication with stakeholders.
- →Utilize ERP (INFOR preferred) to plan, monitor, and adjust manufacturing activities.
- →Analyze resource and material availability to identify bottlenecks and constraints.
- →Partner with Supply Chain and Materials Planning to ensure timely material flow to production lines.
- →Participate in cross-functional planning meetings to synchronize schedules with purchasing, fabrication, and assembly.
- →Identify and implement process improvements that enhance scheduling accuracy, reduce lead times, and improve throughput.
- →Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kanban, visual management, and standardized work.
- →Support the adoption of best practices for ERP utilization and production reporting.
- →Serve as the communication link between production, planning, materials, and customer service teams.
- →Escalate capacity or delivery risks promptly to the Production Planning Manager.
- →Support coordination of schedule changes due to design modifications or supply delays.
