Director - Indirect Tax

As a Director - Indirect Tax on our Corporate Functions team become the heart of our organization by developing strategies, refining processes, and implementing initiatives that empower our business to thrive. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role * Develop and execute the U.S. indirect tax strategy aligned with overall corporate objectives and serve as the subject matter expert on indirect tax matters * Oversee preparation, review, and filing of all U.S. indirect tax returns (sales/use, property, excise, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; drive automation and efficiency within processes * Manage indirect tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting (ASC 740 where applicable) and maintain proper documentation / audit trails * Manage tax controversy matters and responses to state and local tax audits / inquiries; negotiate outcomes with tax authorities * Identify and mitigate tax risks across business operations * Partner with internal teams (e.g., supply chain, procurement, sales, IT) to ensure tax-efficient operations and proper documentation Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. * CPA or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred. * 10+ years of progressive experience in indirect tax with Big 4 firm and/or large multinational * Deep knowledge of U.S. indirect tax rules and multi-state regulations * Strong understanding of tax accounting and financial reporting implications * Strategic thinking, strong analytical / problem-solving skills, excellent communication / stakeholder management abilities, strong leadership and team management skills #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
