As a Software Engineer for Microcontroller Tool Development in our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team, you work hand-in-hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting-edge designs, all while building long-lasting partnerships that thrive on success. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role * Design, develop, and maintain Eclipse IDE Plugins (Java) and Visual Studio Code/Theia Extensions in TypeScript and Rust * Contribute to build infrastructure including GitLab, CI/CD, and client/server apps * Provide technical support to stakeholders to enable effective tool usage and resolve issues * Implement tests for the regression testing system in order to maintain a very high level of software quality * Create test plans, analyze test results and document software errors in Jira/Gitlab Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Your skills and expertise will be key to driving our projects forward and ensuring the success of our tool solutions. You are a proactive, detail-oriented team player with a strong analytical mindset, able to solve problems quickly, collaborate across teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. * Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field of studies * Relevant working experience as a Software Engineer, ideally designing and maintaining developer tools (Eclipse/Visual Studio Code/Theia extensions) using TypeScript, Rust and Java * Experience in Java, TypeScript, Rust, and object-oriented programming skills * Good knowledge of software design and architectural patterns \- ISO/OSI architecture, microservices, UML, SysML would be a plus, but not mandatory * Familiarity with version control (git) and code management (Bitbucket/GitLab) * Experience with Eclipse IDE, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub), as well as embedded software development in C and project management tools (Jira/GitLab/GitHub) would be a plus, but not mandatory * Fluency in English (mandatory) Please send us your CV in English.
