Staff Specialist Logistics

Managing logistics service providers and optimizing shipping operations. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role * Execute daily import and export administration and control activities. * Manage and monitor the transit time performance of freight forwarders and transporters. * Handle freight forwarder management and insurance claims. * Plan, monitor, and ensure smooth shipment movements, efficient logistics flow, and timely deliveries. * Manage continuous improvement projects with freight forwarders and transporters. * Assist the Customs Officer (CO) and ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade requirements. * Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external parties (e.g., Customs, FMM, and logistics service providers) as well as counterparts at other sites. * Participate in budgeting, planning, and forecasting of import and export freight costs.
