Junior Systems Engineer

Infosys Brazil is looking for professionals with a Junior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst profile to join our team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

• Advanced English proficiency. 

• Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance (QA) principles and software testing practices. 

• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 

• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. 

• Familiarity with project governance and process control activities. 

• Knowledge of Change Management processes. 

• Experience using collaboration and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. 

• Familiarity with test management platforms such as qTest, Jira X-Ray, Azure DevOps, or MS Test Manager.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications related to Quality Assurance or Software Testing. 

• Agile Framework certifications. 

• Knowledge of Risk Management practices. 

• Experience delivering presentations, workshops, or knowledge-sharing sessions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support Software Quality Assurance activities across project teams. 

• Promote software development and testing best practices throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Ensure project governance compliance according to SDLC standards. 

• Guide project teams in the effective use of Jira, Confluence, qTest, and Jira X-Ray. 

• Monitor software quality processes, including system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing. 

• Support project risk identification and quality improvement initiatives. 

• Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics and project indicators. 

• Develop reports and presentations related to software quality and project governance. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within technology projects.
