You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

  • You'll oversee Landscape Unit staff, projects, programs, and activities, providing professional leadership and technical direction for landscape architecture and greening initiatives.
  • You'll provide technical guidance and oversight to consultant landscape architects and design professionals working on landscaping, irrigation, grading, and related projects.
  • You'll serve as Landscape Architect of Record for District-designed projects, overseeing the preparation, review, coordination, and certification of professional design documents.
  • You'll plan, develop, and direct complex landscape architecture projects involving site planning, planting, irrigation, hardscape, grading, and site improvements.
  • You'll prepare and certify landscape architectural plans, specifications, and technical documents in compliance with applicable laws, codes, standards, and District requirements.
  • You'll lead the design and development of in-house landscape architecture, greening, and land-use planning projects, establishing effective design solutions through professional judgment.
  • You'll direct the preparation, review, and coordination of landscape drawings, specifications, construction documents, and design revisions for new and existing landscapes.
  • You'll oversee the development, review, negotiation, and processing of design service proposals, scopes of work, task orders, and consultant agreements.
  • You'll coordinate community engagement with school administrators, teachers, parent groups, nonprofit organizations, and other stakeholders, incorporating appropriate feedback into project development.
  • You'll review, negotiate, and approve consultant proposals, task orders, scopes of work, and related documents for landscape architecture and professional design services.
  • You'll prepare and review cost estimates, evaluate materials and equipment, determine installation methods, and assess appropriate project delivery strategies.
  • You'll conduct site visits and field investigations to evaluate existing conditions, monitor construction progress, identify technical issues, and direct corrective actions.
  • You'll review and approve technical documentation for grant applications supporting landscape architecture, greening, and sustainability projects, ensuring compliance with District and funding agency requirements.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
  •
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ professional experience in landscape architectural design on commercial and public agency projects, preferably school or university projects
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in supervising a team of landscape architects and related staff providing direction and overseeing projects from inception to completion
  • Extensive experience in AutoCad and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Revit, Rhino and Lumion experience is preferred
    • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
    • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
    • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
    • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
    • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
    • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
    • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
    • Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business.
    • The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
    • We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
