- Be part of a dynamic team that develops new products and processes involving carbon materials and innovative technologies.
- Support plant expansion and process improvement efforts at our manufacturing facilities around the globe.
- Generate and document critical data from bench scale and pilot plant experiments that lead to achieving product and process development goals.
- Utilize creative thinking and “outside-the-box” problem solving to overcome challenges.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- 5 years in a pilot scale lab or manufacturing environment; a technical associate’s or bachelor’s degree will be considered in lieu of experience
- Experience with laboratory equipment and instrumentation operation, maintenance, calibration/verification, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with mechanical work and pilot-scale equipment is required, including following protocols, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
- High standards for working safely, including proper storage, labeling, and use of chemicals, compliance with safe work practices and policies, and housekeeping.
- Attention to detail, and high standards for data accuracy, organization and reporting.
- Strong work ethic, initiative, and flexibility.
- Strong analytical, observational, and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills to listen and respond to team members and internal customers, and to participate in cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively within a diverse team.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally, depending on project needs.
