About the Role
~1 min readAs a People Services Specialist, you will be a key member of the People Services team, providing accurate generalist guidance and support to Employees & Managers pertaining to HR Policies and processes. You will be responsible for the delivery of administrative and transactional support across the Employee Lifecycle, manage task completion in workday, resolve queries effectively, and promote compliance and self-service through Workday and supporting tools.
You will work closely with colleagues across People Services, Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, and Business Unit P & C teams to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience, while maintaining high standards of data accuracy, compliance, and service delivery.
This role reports to the People Services Team Lead and is remote, however there may be times when it is necessary to visit the office.
Responsibilities
~2 min readEmployee Lifecycle & Case Management
- →Primary point of contact for people-related queries across the employee lifecycle, including employee job changes, probation, service awards, payroll-related activity, and offboarding.
- →Provide timely, accurate, and consistent responses in line with agreed Service Level Agreements, ensuring a “once and done” approach wherever possible.
- →Accurately record and manage your work within the ticket management system, ensuring all activity and outcomes are documented.
Workday & Data Management
- →Support the effective use of Workday by employees and managers, coaching and signposting to self-service where appropriate.
- →Monitor and manage task completion and follow up with employees and managers to ensure processes are completed correctly and on time.
- →Maintain high standards of data accuracy through regular auditing, data cleansing, and reporting.
- →Produce reports and support data requests, including payroll inputs, audit requirements, and business reporting.
Payroll, Compliance & Governance
- →Liaise closely with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing, mindful of payroll cut-off dates.
- →Ensure all transactions and documentation meet legal, statutory, SOx, and internal policy requirements.
- →Maintain accurate and secure employee records, ensuring correct filing, naming conventions, and document controls are applied.
- →Support audits by preparing, recording, and maintaining required documentation in line with governance standards.
Knowledge & Continuous Improvement
- →Reference and continually review knowledge base articles, templates, letters, and guidance materials, ensuring content remains accurate, compliant, and aligned to Inizio’s brand and EVP.
- →Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working.
- →Participate in team meetings, projects, and change initiatives that support the ongoing development of People Services.
Collaboration & Service Delivery
- →Work collaboratively with People Services colleagues, Business Unit P & C and HR COE Teams, Finance (Payroll), IT and other stakeholders across geographies.
- →Manage shared mailboxes and support effective workflow prioritisation.
- →Respond flexibly to changing priorities and provide support on ad-hoc projects as required.
Essential
- CIPD (or equivalent) qualification.
- Previous, demonstrable experience providing HR administration and transactional support.
- Knowledge of basic employment law and HR/Payroll practices would be an advantage.
- Experience with cloud based HRIS systems and ticket management systems (ideally Workday and ServiceNow).
- Methodical and organized with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise a busy and varied workload.
- Attention to detail, responsive, with a customer service-minded approach, is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop strong, positive relationships.
- Ability to work flexibly, organise and prioritise workloads to meet business requirements.
- Proactively identifies customer needs and take responsibility to resolve customer complaints.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- An enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn.
- Good IT competence (Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint).
- Resilience and tenacity to see things through to conclusion.
- Initiative and drive to continuously identify ‘better ways’ of working to improve efficiency.
