Reef Industries - WAREHOUSE PERSON B

TITLE: Warehouse Person B    POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Warehouse Person B supports the warehouse by receiving, shipping, inventorying, and storing material, equipment, and products. This role helps ensure smooth daily operations and contributes to overall warehouse efficiency.   QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior forklift operating experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively. Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory management. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Physically receives all incoming deliveries. Opens boxes, crates, and other containers and verify the items received. Marks materials with identifying information. Records number of materials or items received for distribution or storage. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code. Fills requisitions or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to correct party. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage and other designated areas. Assists in the transfer of materials from Houston Production to San Benito Fabrication. Drives forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment. Loads and unloads trucks and/or delivery vehicles using the appropriate methods. Example: Forklift, pallet jack or manually by hand. Completes picking tickets by pulling products from storage areas and transporting them to the packing station, shipping, receiving or production areas. Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments. Assembles boxes, crates and pallets for shipping finished goods or other items. Prepare UPS and FEDEX parcels for mailing. Weighs or counts items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Ensure all items conform to customer shipping specifications. Operates and maintains forklift trucks in a proper and safe manner. Adherence to all company safety and housekeeping procedures. Maintains inventory records. Conforms to all Reef policies and procedures. Performs other duties as requested by management.   WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Inside and outside environments apply.
