ROYAL CARIBBEAN - DOCTOR

The Doctor is responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to guests and crew onboard a cruise ship. The role includes emergency response, diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of medical conditions in accordance with international maritime and company medical standards.

• →Provide emergency, urgent, and routine medical care to guests and crew
• →Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions onboard
• →Respond to medical emergencies, trauma cases, and critical situations
• →Conduct daily clinic consultations and sick calls
• →Perform minor procedures and patient stabilization when required
• →Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans
• →Coordinate medical evacuations (medevac) when necessary
• →Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and reports
• →Ensure compliance with maritime health regulations and company protocols
• →Support infection control and outbreak prevention measures onboard

• Minimum 21 years old
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent qualification)
• Valid license to practice medicine independently
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience
• High adaptability to multicultural and dynamic working conditions
• Willingness to work onboard on rotational contracts (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
