FIFO Chefs from Townsville and Surrounding Suburbs

ISS is searching for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen operations in our Mining Villages in Central Queensland. This role operates on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster, giving you the balance to enjoy life outside of work. This role will be flying in and out of Townsville.

Reporting to the Head Chef/Village Manager, you’ll showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic remote mining environment while supporting the catering team to deliver high-quality meals and a positive on-site dining experience for residents.

Full Time and Casual positions currently available.

As Chef, you will participate in kitchen operations while working with fellow qualified chefs to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals with consistency and pride.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals consistently and efficiently.
• Support the kitchen team to maintain food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
• Assist with stock management, ordering, and kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu execution and service improvements.
• Mentor junior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
