Iterative Health is a healthcare technology and services company powering the acceleration of clinical research to transform patient outcomes.

By combining deep clinical trial expertise with cutting-edge AI, we connect sponsors' scientific ambitions with high-performing research teams that expedite and expand access to novel therapeutics for patients in need. Today, Iterative Health is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and New York City with 250+ employees world-wide.
We're launching operations in APAC and we’re looking for a General Manager to lead the strategy, buildout, and scaling of our operations. This is a founding seat with a mandate to shape and run a region from the ground up, launching operations in Singapore as a hub for the region, plus supporting and growing our early footprint in India and Australia. We envision launching a regional hub and spoke model with Singapore as the hub, supporting patient recruitment and clinical trial execution across neighboring countries (e.g., Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.)
You will operate at whatever altitude a given market requires. Where a country lead is already in place, you will set direction, resourcing, and cadence while they own execution; where no one is yet in seat, you will build the site network, sponsor relationships, and operate rhythm directly.
You'll have full P&L ownership of a region, a direct line to the Global COO, and real authority to design the org as you go rather than inherit one. This is a high accountability executive leadership role for someone who has built a market or business from scratch and knows how to operate with real autonomy.
Regional Launch & P&L Ownership
- Own full P&L accountability for the APAC region as it's built out across all markets, including revenue growth, operating performance, and resource allocation.
- Own buildout of Singapore clinical trial infrastructure, overseeing execution alongside our partnered local hospital system
- Own buildout of regional hub and spoke model, including strategy, logistics, roll out timing, and execution
- Design and tailor our operating model for each country
- Build the region's operating cadence, consistent with our broader company operating model.
- Balance near-term market execution with the investments and capabilities required to build a durable, scalable regional business.
Establishing New Market Power
- Establish deep relationships with Private Investigators to drive engagement and and buy-in to embedding clinical research alongside clinical care
- Establish deep relationships with our global and local sponsor partners to drive buy-in to this new model and shape the required operating rhythm to make trials successful together
- Establish new markets from the ground up and build a repeatable playbook for market entry.
- Identify the gaps between where each market is today and where it needs to be at scale, directing the org structure, systems, and processes to close them.
Stakeholder & Sponsor Leadership
- Serve as the senior point of contact and escalation for sponsors across APAC.
- Represent APAC to the Global COO and executive leadership on performance and investment decisions.
- Work with Life Sciences and global leadership to align on sponsor priorities across the region.
- Represent the region externally with sponsors and partners as a credible senior voice for the business.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Prior experience as a GM, Country Manager, or equivalent P&L owner in at least one market.
- Background in healthcare, clinical research, CRO, or life sciences
- Direct experience building a market or business from scratch. Experience hiring and developing other GMs or senior operators.
- Comfortable with full P&L accountability while building the team and infrastructure from the ground up.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent a region credibly to executive leadership and external partners.
- Willingness to travel regularly across APAC markets (25%+).
Requirements
~1 min read- Familiarity with clinical trial operations, site management, and sponsor-side dynamics in at least one APAC market
- Experience leading or supporting M&A
- Time in top-tier consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain)
- Sponsors and local affiliates have a single, trusted IH counterpart in CEE they proactively engage throughout the study lifecycle.
- Study kickoffs are structured, well-documented, and set clear expectations for all parties from day one.
- IH's value proposition is current, credible, and consistently communicated to regional sponsor audiences.
- Site performance, risks, and pull-through actions are reported accurately and acted on in weekly alignment cadences.
- Sponsor satisfaction and retention improve measurably, and IH's share of new studies within existing sponsor relationships grows.
