Conduct activities to facilitate the transit of product through the warehouse, ensuring accurate records of product receipt, location and movement are created in line with the quality management system.

Responsibilities

→Maintain shipping area to a high standard of organisation, ensure your working area is tidy and practice good housekeeping.
→Visually check labelling and associated documentation for any errors on product ready for dispatch and report to the warehouse manager/supervisor.
→Package product to a high standard, ensuring that the correct packing material is used to ensure the product is not damaged during transit.
→Use of the courier shipping terminals to ensure the accurate generation of all necessary documentation.
→Report any shortages of packing material before running out the warehouse manager.
→Support of goods in when required. Cross training to be provided.
→Assist on stock checks/cycle counts.
→General housekeeping duties within the warehouse when required.
→Ensure Health and Safety requirements are observed in the area and within the warehouse.
