Anaplan Scrum Master

Johnson Controls is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support Anaplan-driven planning work across business and technology teams. In this role, you will help teams deliver with clarity, keep priorities aligned, and improve how planning solutions move from ideas to release.

This role is focused on guiding Agile delivery for Anaplan initiatives in a collaborative enterprise environment. You will partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, model builders, analysts, and technical teams to keep delivery organized, transparent, and moving forward. We are looking for someone with 7+ years of experience who can bring structure, momentum, and steady facilitation to complex planning work.

• →Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release planning.
• →Partner with Product Owners to keep the backlog prioritized, clear, and ready for sprint execution.
• →Translate business needs into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria that support Anaplan delivery.
• →Coordinate across business users, Product Owners, model builders, analysts, and technical teams to maintain alignment on scope, dependencies, and delivery goals.
• →Support UAT activities by helping validate delivered solutions against acceptance criteria and business expectations.
• →Track impediments, risks, and delivery blockers, and help drive timely resolution.
• →Protect the team from unnecessary scope creep and external disruptions while keeping stakeholders informed.
• →Support transparency through delivery updates, sprint health indicators, and progress reporting.
• →Encourage continuous improvement in planning, collaboration, and release readiness.

• Own outcomes with accountability and integrity by keeping commitments visible, raising risks early, and following through on agreed actions.
• Stay close to the work by understanding the details of Anaplan delivery, removing blockers quickly, and helping the team focus on what matters most.
• Improve every day by using retrospectives, candid conversation, and practical problem-solving to strengthen flow, quality, and predictability.

• Use Agile ceremonies and delivery data to keep the team aligned, informed, and ready for the next sprint.

• 7+ years of professional experience, including proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks.
• Experience translating business requirements into user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting Anaplan initiatives or enterprise planning solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and navigate change effectively.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Experience with financial forecasting, commercial planning, workforce planning, or other enterprise planning processes in Anaplan.
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, or similar collaboration tools.
• Experience supporting UAT, release readiness, and delivery metrics reporting.
• Familiarity with The Anaplan Way or similar structured planning delivery methods.
