The maintenance manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of facility, machinery, and infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
This role involves leading a team of engineers, scheduling maintenance activities, managing budgets and spare-parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
The manager also analyzes equipment performance data to reduce downtime, implement improvement projects, and support overall operational reliability.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance of engineers and support staff.
- Coordinate repairs of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems to minimize downtime.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability when needed.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including labor, parts, and contractor costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Analyze equipment performance and failure trends to recommend improvements or upgrades looking the realibility to reduce the downtime.
- Coordinate with other departments to plan maintenance activities with minimal impact on workflow.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/neumatic systems.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency with CMMS software
