Responsibilities

→Diagnose and rectify defects in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and control panels onboard ships.
→Execute retrofit and commissioning activities for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems (CO₂, FM200, Water Mist, Foam).
→Perform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems.
→Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program upload/download.

Interpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting.
Apply control philosophy knowledge to implement retrofit solutions.
Analyze onboard logbook data to identify and resolve system defects.
Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and operational excellence.

Education: Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering

Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on service experience

Expertise in servicing Addressable Fire Detection Systems and Fire Extinguishing Systems (CO₂, FM200, Water Mist, Foam).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
