Pod 30 - Test Stand

Gas - POD 30 Test Stand   Job Overview: Gas Test Room requires an individual to test 20+ engines per day.  If an engine were to fail on the test stand the individual is required to diagnosis and problem, solve engine failures.  They may also do minor repairs to a failed engine. This position requires utilizing a hoist to move the assembled engine (weighs 300 to 500 pounds), torque wrench and impact gun to tighten bolts.  The position does require an individual with strong mechanical, technical, and math skills.  Prefer an individual with prior mechanical and/or gauging experience.  Works with hot steam from hot engines and hot engine oil. Schedule:  Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Overtime available Qualifications The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours) The ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, torque wrenches, hammer, drills. Standing: 8 hrs. Walking: 8 hrs. Sitting: 0 Stooping (forward leaning): 1 hr. Reaching/Working Overhead: 1 hr. Salary and Benefits: Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
