JetBrains is an international software development company that has been building tools to help developers be more productive and creative since 2000. With more than 2,500 professionals across 10 global locations, we know that our success depends on the people behind our products.
The Global Workplace Department shapes every JetBrains workspace around the world. From site selection and design to project supervision and move-ins, we ensure that each office reflects our standard of excellence. Our team oversees user needs, design standards, budgets, and schedules while driving collaboration between internal stakeholders and external partners.
Our mission is to create distinctive, sustainable, and healthy workplaces that foster creativity and innovation.
We’re currently looking for a Project Manager to support key projects in Germany. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the technical side of projects and being close to the work. You’ll drive projects forward day to day, working closely with a Senior Project Manager and taking ownership of execution – keeping things moving, solving problems, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Own and drive workplace project execution from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to JetBrains’ standards.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, planning, budgeting, and scheduling in collaboration with Senior Project Managers.
- Actively manage budgets, schedules, and risks, taking ownership of resolving issues and keeping projects on track.
- Coordinate communication, meetings, and reporting with internal stakeholders, external partners, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, zoning, and building regulations.
- Take a hands-on approach to delivery – driving tasks forward, solving issues, and maintaining consistent project progress.
- Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and department initiatives.
- Travel to project locations to support key decisions, oversee milestones (e.g. inspections and handovers), and maintain strong collaboration with partners.
- A degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in construction or workplace project delivery, with a strong understanding of technical coordination, documentation, and implementation.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive and structured approach to problem-solving, with the ability to act quickly and decisively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in international, cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and German proficiency, particularly within the construction sector.
- Proficiency in office software, project planning tools, timelines, Miro, Excel, and CAD.
