The Maintenance Compliance Manager owns the technical and analytical health of JSSI Parts & Engines' rental engine portfolio of 100+ assets, combining compliance authority with predictive maintenance and reliability analytics. This role defines and approves technical work scopes on repair events, serves as the technical point of contact for customers experiencing engine-on-wing issues, and provides input to asset deployment decisions. The Maintenance Manager reports to the VP of Logistics & Asset Management and provides oversight to the Traxxall enrollment team for enrolling and maintaining Traxxall readiness for all owned assets. This position will have one direct report.

Accountable for the maintenance compliance confirmation of the rental engine portfolio; ensures all required Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins are embodied.

Continuously screen Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins, evaluate fleet-wide financial impact, and coordinate compliance deadlines directly with lessees.

Maintain current technical knowledge of each asset's condition — TSN, TSO, CSN, CSO, green time, LLP status, previous squawks, exceedances, and performance — as the technical authority for planning and lease decisions.

Define and approve technical work scopes for engine shop visits, customized to remaining lease term and operating environment rather than default packages, and compliance confirmation on repair orders managed by the Asset Event Manager & Planner.

Oversee pre- and post-rental inspections, work order audits, and physical and documentary fleet audits to confirm assets and renters meet contractual and compliance standards.

Serve as the technical point of contact for rental customers, providing remote troubleshooting and AOG support for engine-on-wing issues.

Validate vendor compliance documentation for brokered leases prior to client delivery.

Audit repair order close-out documentation for completeness and accuracy before records are finalized.

Analyze engine operating data, flight hours and cycles, and oil analysis reports to predict component failures and build predictive maintenance schedules.

Maintain a rolling maintenance event forecast based on asset utilization and LLP replacement schedules, calculating projected maintenance reserve requirements for Finance.

Review and analyze maintenance and inspection data, deriving required actions such as inspection interval reductions.

Review and reconcile engine technical records at lease start and end to assess damage and calculate Power-by-the-Hour maintenance utility fees.

Audit and track historical trace documentation for high-value life-limited parts (LLPs) to protect resale and rental value.

Provide recommendations on asset utilization and deployment to Asset Management leadership.

Own logbook and documentation management for lease and acquired assets, ensuring FAA Form 8130-3s, EASA Form 1s, and logbooks are archived accurately and meet global regulatory standards.

Enroll assets into Traxxall with full configuration, leveraging Traxxall's platform structure to maintain accurate, real-time maintenance records.

Direct and review the Philippines-based support team's records and enrollment work, ensuring accuracy and turnaround meet JPE standards.

Support the Asset Event Manager & Planner across unplanned requirement changes, new leases, and post-lease records — providing compliance input to the plan and confirming AvSight and Traxxall are updated with completion and lease status.

Keep AvSight and Traxxall current and accurate across all assigned assets, ensuring the broader Asset Management team works from reliable data.

Participate in planning reviews with Asset Management leadership, providing technical, analytical, and compliance visibility into fleet condition and risk.

5+ years of turbine engine maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in data analysis, fleet forecasting, or technical engine leasing.

Strong analytical skills; able to interpret performance, oil analysis, log books, and maintenance data and translate it into predictive schedules and financial calculations.

Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and forecasting models, and experience with aviation maintenance tracking systems such as Traxxall, CAMP, Quantum, or comparable platforms.

Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience directing or reviewing the work of a remote or outsourced support team.

Nice to Have

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification or a strong background in turbine engines.

Experience with AvSight or comparable inventory management platforms.

For this role, the annual base pay generally ranges from $90,000 to $150,000, with the final offer determined by variable factors including but not limited to market location, job-specific knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition, your total rewards package may include an annual discretionary bonus plan, incentive or sales bonus plan, or other form of additional compensation, based on your role.
