This remote opportunity is designed for an experienced Interventional Radiologist who wants to apply their clinical expertise in a flexible medical review setting. You’ll evaluate clinical cases and medical records, develop clear clinical summaries, and provide expert opinions on questions presented by clients. The role is advisory in nature and does not involve direct patient treatment or the establishment of a doctor-patient relationship. As an independent contractor, you’ll have significant control over your schedule, case volume, and the types of reviews you accept. Administrative and case-preparation support helps streamline the review process so you can focus on applying your medical judgment. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-quality healthcare assessments while working remotely on a schedule aligned with your availability.
- Conduct thorough reviews of clinical cases and medical records using your expertise in Interventional Radiology.
- Evaluate relevant medical documentation and develop clear, accurate clinical summaries.
- Provide advisory medical opinions and respond to specific clinical questions presented by clients.
- Participate in peer-to-peer communications when additional clinical discussion or clarification is required.
- Apply appropriate clinical knowledge, treatment guidelines, and medical standards when reaching determinations.
- Complete reviews accurately and within established timelines while maintaining required professional standards.
- Attend required orientation and training sessions and maintain all necessary credentialing and professional requirements.
Requirements

- Current, unrestricted medical license in the applicable U.S. jurisdiction(s).
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to analyze complex medical records and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clinical reasoning clearly.
- Ability to provide objective, well-supported advisory opinions based on medical evidence and applicable guidelines.
- Willingness to complete required orientation and training.
- Ability to maintain appropriate credentials, state licenses, certifications, and other professional requirements necessary to perform the role.
