Data Analyst
Quick Summary
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Analyst based in Brazil.
This is a fully remote opportunity for a detail-oriented Data Analyst supporting data-driven marketing, reporting, and business operations. You’ll work extensively with large datasets, using advanced SQL to investigate, transform, and analyze complex information. The role combines data analysis, quality assurance, dashboard development, and troubleshooting across CRM, marketing, inventory, and external data sources. You’ll help ensure that reports and datasets are accurate, reliable, and ready to support business decisions. Working closely with a US-based reporting team, you’ll contribute to both recurring deliverables and ad-hoc analytical requests. The ideal candidate is proactive, curious, highly organized, and comfortable investigating discrepancies until the underlying issue is understood and resolved.
-
Write, debug, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, aggregate, transform, and analyze large volumes of marketing, CRM, inventory, and automotive-related data.
-
Work with complex joins, CTEs, aggregations, and other SQL techniques to produce accurate and actionable datasets.
-
Investigate and resolve data logic issues and discrepancies assigned through tools such as HubSpot and Jira.
-
Trace historical CRM and data inconsistencies to identify root causes and ensure reliable reporting.
-
Audit, clean, standardize, and validate large external datasets before they are incorporated into reports or analytical workflows.
-
Review sources such as automated email lists, advertising platform performance data, and vendor feeds to identify data-quality issues.
-
Build, update, and maintain client-facing dashboards and reports within business intelligence environments.
-
Translate structured reporting requirements into accurate dashboards and analytical deliverables while following established product and reporting standards.
-
Perform rigorous quality assurance on datasets, dashboards, and reports to ensure accurate and reliable deliverables for customer-facing teams.
-
Collaborate with the US-based reporting team through regular stand-ups and other communication channels to prioritize and resolve analytical requests.
-
Manage ad-hoc data requests and analytical tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
-
Proactively investigate unexpected results, inconsistencies, and discrepancies rather than simply reporting that numbers do not match.
-
Contribute to improving data processes, reporting quality, and analytical workflows through continuous learning and proactive problem-solving.
