The role combines deep expertise in patient-level claims analytics with strong commercial judgment, analytical curiosity, and cross-functional leadership. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Finance, Insights & Analytics, and IT/Data Management, the Director will uncover performance drivers, evaluate treatment adoption, and identify opportunities for improvement. • Serve as a strategic analytics partner to Commercial leadership, translating business questions into analytical approaches, insights, and actionable recommendations.

  • Proactively identify commercial performance trends, opportunities, risks, and emerging business questions by integrating multiple data sources and evaluating key business drivers.

  • Lead patient-level claims analytics to identify patient populations, new patient starts, treatment adoption, utilization, persistence, treatment patterns, and patient journeys.

  • Develop and validate analytical methodologies for patient identification and treatment initiation, accounting for claims coverage, reporting lag, coding limitations, longitudinal tracking, and other data constraints.

  • Integrate claims data with sales, specialty distribution and pharmacy, CRM, healthcare professional and account, market access, and other relevant datasets to build a comprehensive view of patient and commercial performance.

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of launch KPIs, commercial performance metrics, and diagnostic measures in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Establish and oversee commercial data strategy, governance, stewardship, definitions, and business rules, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to support data sourcing, integration, quality, and appropriate use.

  • Define reporting and visualization requirements based on business needs and decision-making priorities, providing analytical direction to teams and partners responsible for dashboards and reports.

  • Use Tableau or similar business intelligence platforms to investigate reporting outputs, identify trends and anomalies, and evolve dashboards beyond static reporting into practical decision-support tools.

  • Lead or oversee advanced analytics, including segmentation, targeting, patient journey analysis, treatment adoption and persistence, trigger identification, promotional effectiveness, and return-on-investment assessments.

  • Provide analytical leadership and oversight to external partners, critically evaluating methodologies, assumptions, findings, and conclusions.

  • Develop compelling executive-level narratives and presentations that translate complex analyses into clear business implications, strategic options, and recommended actions.
