This is a senior-level opportunity focused on supporting and evolving critical banking systems in a remote environment.
You will act as a technical and functional reference across core banking and financial processes.
The role combines systems analysis, production support, requirements gathering, data investigation, and solution design.
You will work across areas such as accounting, current accounts, collections, taxation, treasury, credit, and regulatory reporting.
Your expertise will help investigate complex incidents, improve processes, and support the implementation of financial products.
The position requires close collaboration with technical teams, business stakeholders, executives, and external technology providers.
It offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact financial technology projects while expanding your expertise in banking systems.

Act as a subject-matter expert across banking system modules, including accounting, current accounts, collections, taxation, and regulatory functions.
Perform functional and technical analysis of banking and financial systems, supporting both day-to-day operations and system evolution.
Support system maintenance, enhancements, implementations, and change management across banking environments.
Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend sustainable improvements.
Analyze SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, Jobs, integrations, and large data sets to identify issues and support solutions.
Understand, document, and improve financial and operational processes.
Collaborate with technology providers and vendors to investigate and resolve complex system issues.
Support Operations, Accounting, Tax, Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting teams with technical and functional expertise.
Participate in projects involving the implementation and evolution of financial products and banking solutions.
Produce clear technical and functional documentation and support development and business teams in defining appropriate solutions.

Requirements

Senior or specialist-level experience working with financial or banking systems, preferably within banks, fintechs, financial institutions, or banking software providers.
Strong knowledge of banking processes, with experience in areas such as banking accounting, current accounts, collections, financial products, taxation, SPB, clearing, treasury, credit operations, active and passive products, financial statements, and regulatory reporting.
Experience with Core Banking, financial systems, or accounting platforms.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including the ability to analyze Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers.
Experience analyzing large data sets and investigating complex system or data-related issues.
Experience gathering requirements and performing systems analysis.
Knowledge of integrations, APIs, solution architecture, and batch processes.
Strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of banking business processes.
Investigative mindset, autonomy, ownership, and the ability to solve complex problems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field.
Experience with AUTBANK is a plus, as is familiarity with platforms such as Matera, Topaz, or FitBank.
Advanced SQL Server knowledge, performance tuning experience, C#/.NET knowledge, and familiarity with ETL, Web Services, or messaging are valuable differentiators.
Postgraduate studies in Finance, Banking Technology, or Project Management are also considered a plus.
