This remote opportunity supports insurance regulatory and complaint-management activities within a global, multicultural environment.
You will provide essential operational and analytical support to Regulatory Affairs specialists, helping ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting.
The role combines data collection, documentation, reporting, portal submissions, and coordination with multiple business functions.
You will work with teams across Product, Billing, Claims, Service, IT, and other areas to gather information and resolve data-related questions.
Your attention to detail will help maintain reliable complaint records, regulatory files, work queues, and reporting data.
You will also contribute to identifying complaint trends, supporting regulatory reviews, and preparing information for surveys and investigations.
The position offers exposure to insurance operations, regulatory processes, and continuous professional development within an international organization.

  • Collect and organize complaint, policy, billing, and related business information for internal and external regulatory reporting using established procedures.

  • Coordinate with Product, Billing, Claims, Service, IT, and other business partners to obtain documentation, validate data requirements, and route policy- or billing-related inquiries.

  • Perform data uploads to state regulatory portals and support timely regulatory reporting in accordance with established instructions and controls.

  • Maintain complaint tracking files, work assignment queues, regulatory portal records, data dictionary fields, and other relevant metadata.

  • Review assigned information for completeness, consistency, and obvious data discrepancies, escalating non-routine questions or complex issues to Regulatory Affairs specialists or management.

  • Research policy-processing transactions and related information to support specialists in investigating and resolving customer complaints.

  • Prepare standard and limited ad hoc reports related to complaint and regulatory activities using established templates, procedures, and data sources.

  • Support the development of plans and actions addressing complaint trends and participate in team discussions focused on regulatory and complaint insights.

  • Assist Regulatory Affairs specialists with data requests, premium surveys, market conduct examinations, and regulatory investigations.

  • Contribute to accurate, consistent, and timely execution of regulatory compliance processes while maintaining appropriate documentation and controls.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative, data support, regulatory, insurance, compliance, or related operational environment is valuable.

  • Strong ability to collect, organize, validate, and maintain business information accurately.

  • Good understanding of data quality principles, documentation, tracking, and structured reporting processes.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, incomplete information, or potential data issues.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple business functions and stakeholders to obtain information and resolve routine questions.

  • Comfortable following established procedures, templates, controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage work queues and meet reporting deadlines.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment about when to escalate issues to specialists or management.

  • Ability to prepare standard reports and support limited ad hoc analysis using available data and established processes.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, distributed environment.

  • Ability to handle sensitive complaint, policy, billing, and regulatory information with appropriate discretion and accuracy.

  • Willingness to continuously learn about insurance processes, regulatory requirements, and evolving business procedures.
