This is a fully remote opportunity for a skilled language professional to help people communicate clearly across Nepali and English. You’ll provide real-time interpretation during calls and meetings, ensuring information is conveyed accurately, naturally, and respectfully. The role requires strong listening skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to remain composed when handling sensitive or challenging conversations. Confidentiality and professional ethics are central to the position, particularly when interpreting potentially sensitive information. You’ll also stay current with relevant terminology and participate in ongoing training to continuously strengthen your capabilities. Provide accurate, timely, and clear real-time interpretation between Nepali and English during calls, meetings, and other interactions.
Accurately convey the meaning, tone, and context of spoken communication while avoiding omissions or unnecessary additions.
Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive, personal, or confidential information.
Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity when communicating with clients and service providers from diverse backgrounds.
Remain neutral and professional while facilitating communication between participants.
Stay informed about relevant terminology, expressions, and vocabulary to maintain high-quality interpretation.
Follow established ethical standards, interpreter protocols, and professional best practices.

Fluency in both Nepali and English, with excellent command of spoken and written language.
Previous professional experience in interpretation, translation, customer service, communications, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
