The role sits at the intersection of publishing operations, project management, technology, and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll work closely with Content, Editorial, Product, Supply Chain, Customer Success, Operations, printers, and external partners.
Beyond day-to-day execution, you’ll identify ways to automate workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve production quality.
You’ll have an opportunity to modernize print operations through technology, AI, and scalable process improvements.

  • Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, printers, and supply chain partners to deliver student editions, teacher editions, translated materials, samples, and other print packages accurately and on schedule.

  • Maintain production schedules, dashboards, version control, approvals, and release-readiness documentation across concurrent projects.

  • Execute established print production, quality assurance, errata, and document-release processes consistently and identify production risks before they affect delivery.

  • Manage cover production from initial request through final approval and coordinate print-file corrections and issue resolution through established workflows.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to improve production tools, workflows, reporting, and operational visibility.

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive production activities and leverage AI for quality assurance, metadata validation, document comparison, and other production workflows.

  • Recommend scalable operational improvements that reduce manual work, increase quality, accelerate delivery, and improve visibility across the print production lifecycle.
