The Product Manager, Documentation Systems will own documentation as a product, shaping the systems and processes behind customer and internal knowledge.
You will oversee in-product Help, implementation guides, support runbooks, release notes, and the tooling that produces them.
This is a hands-on build role focused on creating an AI-assisted documentation pipeline grounded in reliable product sources.
You will establish standards, metrics, information architecture, and evaluation processes that keep documentation accurate and useful.
The role partners closely with Product and Engineering to capture how products actually work, rather than relying solely on specifications.
You will use modern LLM tooling to automate repetitive documentation workflows while applying human judgment where accuracy matters most.
This remote contractor opportunity is suited to a product-minded builder who enjoys complex systems, customer problems, and continuous improvement.
You will own the documentation ecosystem end to end, combining product management, automation, technical knowledge, and customer empathy to improve how product information is created, maintained, and consumed.
