The Senior Project Manager will lead complex, enterprise-scale technology implementations, with a strong focus on Salesforce solutions and digital transformation initiatives. In this senior consulting role, you will oversee project delivery from planning and requirements gathering through implementation, integration, and final execution, ensuring that projects meet client expectations, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including offshore resources, across multiple workstreams while managing risks, dependencies, and changing business requirements. Working closely with client stakeholders, technical specialists, and delivery leadership, you will serve as a trusted advisor who translates business objectives into actionable project plans and scalable technology solutions. This remote opportunity is suited to an experienced project leader with strong consulting expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven record of delivering successful Salesforce implementations.

  • Lead Enterprise Project Delivery: Manage complex, strategic technology implementations, overseeing project teams and deliverables while ensuring alignment with client objectives, contractual commitments, timelines, and budgets.

  • Develop and Maintain Project Plans: Create detailed project schedules, monitor milestones, track progress, adjust plans when necessary, and proactively resolve issues that could affect delivery.

  • Manage Day-to-Day Execution: Coordinate implementation activities, project documentation, status reporting, resource allocation, and communication across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Oversee Cross-Functional Teams: Lead teams of approximately 10–20 resources across multiple workstreams, including offshore delivery teams, ensuring effective collaboration and accountability.

  • Manage Budgets, Contracts, and Scope: Oversee project budgets and resource requirements, review statements of work (SOWs), monitor contractual obligations, and coordinate change orders with delivery leadership when project scope or requirements change.

  • Drive Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges while maintaining clear escalation procedures and appropriate stakeholder communication.

  • Ensure Delivery Governance: Establish and manage stage-gate reviews, apply standardized development lifecycle methodologies, and ensure project activities comply with established governance and quality standards.

  • Support Requirements Gathering and Solution Planning: Facilitate requirements discussions, contribute to project deliverables, evaluate business and technical needs, and develop realistic project plans and estimates.

  • Oversee Salesforce Implementations: Lead medium- and enterprise-scale Salesforce projects, identifying opportunities to leverage Salesforce capabilities, platform features, and integration tools to meet business requirements.

  • Coordinate Integration and Data Migration: Oversee complex system integration and data migration initiatives, ensuring appropriate planning, coordination, and execution across relevant technical workstreams.

  • Manage Hybrid Delivery Models: Apply appropriate waterfall and agile practices to coordinate implementation activities, maintain delivery momentum, and respond effectively to changing requirements.

  • Build Trusted Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with client project stakeholders, providing strategic guidance, communicating solution options, and contributing to future product roadmaps.

  • Facilitate Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical issues into clear business terms and maintain effective communication among clients, developers, internal technology teams, product specialists, and delivery leadership, including during non-traditional business hours when needed.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, develop reusable project assets, and share knowledge and methods that strengthen team performance.

  • Pursue Professional Development: Complete assigned Salesforce Trailhead learning and obtain the Salesforce certification designated in consultation with management within 12 months of joining.

  • Senior Project Management Experience: Demonstrated experience leading large, complex technology projects with direct responsibility for project teams, budgets, schedules, scope, and deliverables.

  • Team and Resource Leadership: Experience managing teams of approximately 10–20 resources across multiple workstreams, including offshore teams and geographically distributed delivery resources.

  • Salesforce Implementation Expertise: Extensive experience delivering medium- and enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions, with hands-on familiarity with Salesforce products and implementation methodologies.

  • Salesforce Certifications: Multiple Salesforce certifications, such as Administrator, Consultant, Developer, or Architect credentials.

  • Consulting Background: Extensive external consulting experience, including CRM consulting, client engagement, solution delivery, and stakeholder management.

  • Technical Configuration Skills: Hands-on ability to configure Salesforce and perform declarative development and customization tasks.

  • Integration and Data Migration: Experience managing complex integrations and data migration engagements involving enterprise systems.

  • Project Governance and Methodology: Experience working with hybrid waterfall and agile delivery models, project lifecycle standards, stage-gate reviews, and formal change management processes.

  • Budget and Resource Management: Strong capabilities in financial oversight, resource planning, project estimation, scope management, and contractual delivery.

  • Delivery Performance: A demonstrated history of delivering high-quality project outcomes on schedule and within budget while managing risks and competing priorities.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to evaluate business and technical requirements, develop practical delivery plans, resolve complex issues, and make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Communication and Organization: Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.

  • Client-Centric Leadership: Strong people leadership, relationship-building, accountability, and collaboration skills, with a commitment to client success and long-term partnerships.

  • Remote Team Coordination: Ability to manage distributed teams and communicate with remote developers across different time zones, including non-traditional working hours when required.

  • Adaptability and Innovation: A proactive approach to identifying delivery improvements, developing creative solutions, and adapting to evolving project requirements.

  • Preferred Industry Experience: Experience in financial services, including banking, lending, or wealth management; insurance; or healthcare, including payer or provider organizations.

  • Preferred Salesforce Specialization: Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or Salesforce Health Cloud is an advantage.

  • Additional Preferred Experience: Previous employment with a Salesforce systems integrator (SI) or experience as a Salesforce Implementation Consultant.

  • Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications are beneficial.

  • Commitment to Professional Growth: Willingness to complete assigned Salesforce learning and certification requirements within the first 12 months of employment.

  • Work Arrangement: Full-time remote position based in the United States.
